All gone. I have a couple rh ones left, that are brand new and that's it. Kirban's mold the lh side deteriorated and won't produce a good piece. Best bet is someone goes cap in hand to Peter Gee, and ask him to tool up for a run. Whether the money to be made is right for him, I can't say.

Still on the hunt for a pair of 64 hood scoops. Either original or repopped will work.

of the GTOAA? The Legend has ads in the back and Greg Spreitzer has a set asking $325. Don't know much else about them. 440-382-8161. He's been in the hobby for a long time. He has lots of parts.

I have seen them on his craigslist post. I have an original set that is in similar condition with pitting on the ribs. Looking for a set that is in better condition.

Thank you for the info.

I'm still looking, too. Several nice pair went this summer for about $800. Be prepared to pay that much if you find them.

Ames said the minimum quantity to make repros feasible is 1000 pair. I don't think that's going to happen.

I'm sure someone with long pockets will step up an make them since the prototype steel hood for '64 should be in for testing/quality control within the next few months, and seems to have a good chance of coming to market.

Todd from Todds GTOs has the project moving forwards. His restoration guy keeps me informed, but like with anything of this magnitude, I'll believe it when I see it.
