Great lookin' cars! Nice to be able to get them out for some exercise. My son and I took the T/A and the Bird out for a self directed power tour yesterday; temp around 60* and bone dry air. Cars were making a ton of power. Had a hard time keeping the rubber stuck to the road even in 3rd gear. Had a few good side by sides at some low traffic intersections out from town. Cars in the rear view got small really quick.

Scott's cars and Mike's GTO...
Quote:
Rexus, aka Scott spent a few sessions helping me on your GTO. His favorite task was installing the D-port bolts on the Doug's headers. Following his efforts I would find his anti-seize fingerprints upon every garage surface . In return I managed to seize the p/steering pump during the Chrysler's cam break after failing to add sufficient additional fluid quickly enuf .

Almost a couple feet out there and cold.
For proper perspective on this thread: In 7 months, when those of us miserable frozen souls and cars are out in balmy 70's and 80's cruising...... You happy campers now will be scorching in 100+ boiling your brains and frying eggs on the sidewalk, while only cruising at 2:00am when it cools to 90.......... but I still wish I was driving now

I need to reorder...
I never would have thought that a single pint of anti-seize could cover an entire garage including it's occupants . The two guys in the convertible are making a hasty escape from working on the Goat while my back was turned .

At least it was warm enough so the could make good their escape.
I was,,, and I say was.. going to take the GTO out today. But because it was 20 degrees and the wind chill had to be about 0 I said I'm not freezing my butt off just to say I had it out the on New Years day..... like I did last year, even tho it wasn't as cold as today. And it would have only been me seeing Mark Farner wasn't here this year.

Nice 300!
I had one almost just like it back in the 80s except it was a '68. Red with white top and interior and almost every option in the book.

Sweet! My '65 is highly optioned as well. It began it's life as an Executive Zone Car and was then sold to Canoga Chrysler in Canoga Park, CA. It's got everything except Auto Pilot.

I don’t have personal experience with Coker red lines, but what I heard was not very positive. I ended up going with diamond back redlines on my 66 and 68- both ride fantastic. I highly recommend.

I have the Coker FR70/14's radial redlines on my '65. I really like the look, and the ride.
