Thanks everyone! For now I am just gonna have to load up on the pain meds and suck it up. My family and myself have decided to stay put and ride the storm out. I have the boat in the front yard and a Bow line tied off to the porch just in case its gets to deep and we need to bail. ( which we had do by this method once before). Generator is already up and running power went out a while ago. So as far as the gull bladder goes it is just gonna have to phuckin wait! Again thanks everyone for your well wishes. I will keep you posted on how both situations play out.

Just got the gallbladder removal on Wed. I dealt with the pain for way too long. When it was all said and done I ended up in the ER needing not only the removal of my gallbladder, but a large stone got lodged in the bile duct of my liver. They had to go in through my mouth with a scope and remove it. That's the last time I ignore pain.

Never underestimate your gut instincts when it comes to your own health.

I was in Michigan three years ago for the ADRL race, and was feeling pretty rough (other than feeling rough over fighting with a racecar all weekend). Barfed a little, just felt like crap. I knew something was off. Later that night my wife and I got the grand tour of the local ER with a 106 degree temperature. The fever slowly went away, they couldn't find anything really wrong, and dismissed it as something I ate. They sent us on our way, and told us that I'd be fine in a day or two. We drove back to Alabama the next day.

Two days later, I had my gall bladder removed, it was already dead and the surgeon said I was less than 24 hours away from being in REAL bad shape.

I spent a grand total of four and a half weeks in the hospital over that one. I went from 237 lb to 172. It took me a solid six months to get back to where I could work in the shop again.

"It's just something you ate", they said.

"You'll be fine in a couple days", they said.

And Your gall bladder was not that easy to remove, if I remember right.

Cut me from my sternum to my right side hip, just above my belt.

Again, if you ever think "something's not right", then something probably isn't right. Don't waste time, get to a doctor.
