RAIV cam w/1.65:1 rockers is a popular choice for 455s. So is a Crower 60916 with 1.5s or 1.65s. A lot of guys run a Comp XE268 or 274 series.

If the heads are unported, stick to .470-.490 lift with .230-240 duration @ .050". LAS should range from 110 to 112. This will wake up that 455 and your client will have a big fat torque curve to play with! Plus about 400-430 hp!

The HO cam (068) will be the best choice on this level.

Summit 2801 is a new and improved 068. Use it with confidence.

Summit K2801 is the best value on the market. Dyno results between camshafts with similar specifications (like the K2801 and the Crane H 272-2) are nearly identical...Robert

Hi,
Does anyone have horsepower/torque vs RPM graphs for the Summit 2801?
Mike

And what about the 2802 on a car with this set up? That's with the 1.5 or 1.52 rockers?

Come on, with a/c, stock exhaust, #s matching car (carb ect...), doing a frame off #1 resto. for a customer, why would he want more than a 068 HO cam?
