Default 70 GTO project car

Hey Guys
Going to toss this out here. If there isn't any interest I'm going to part it out. I just picked up a 70 GTO code 50, sierra yellow, black interior, 4spd car. Its all apart and needs complete resto.

No motor or trans.

Here is what comes with the car:

black bucket seat interior, needs front covers, back seats are decent driver quality one small tear

door panels are driver quality, will need some glueing around the back side of panels, missing lower rear panels and package tray

all glass included, has electric rear defrost, no switch

needs head liner

no dash, have a nice original one with one crack down the center for extra price if interested

overhead map light no lenses

4 spd pedal asm

4 spd console

Non tilt floor shift column

Body:

Could use a shell, or if you have the time and the ability to fix this one. It needs a trunk pan, floors are average, someone cut into body mount areas to get to bolts, they replaced all body mounts with urethane mounts. Quarters have been skinned but would need more work

Frame looks excellent, has disk brake spindles, no calipers

Rally II's with excellent rubber, trim rings and center caps, looks like new springs all four corners

non a/c car

front fenders need lower patch panels with brace work, not too bad, seen alot worse

both fender wells are decent, one needs just a little attention at front fender mounting area, not bad at all

doors are toast

electric windows

hood is toast

very nice front endura with grilles and brackets, no head light doors, might have some pitted ones hanging around

straight rear bumper light pitting good core or a 15 foot driver

NOS front valance

decent lemans deck lid with Judge spoiler- aftermarket needs some finish work

Front and rear sway bars

Pontiac 10 bolt, haven't checked for limited slip yet

radiater support needs typical patch work on bat side

Will get pics if interested. Looking to get 2800 for everything. I will also get PHS docs for who ever buys the car. Really hate to part it but I don't have the time.

Let me know what you think

Make an offer, is this asking price too high? It is a GTO stick car and comes with alot of parts.

I would be interested if it wasn't so far from Texas. It sounds like what I am looking for but I have no idea how to get a roller moved that far.

You could rent a Uhaul and a car carrier, fly up to Manchester, NH pick up the truck and drive it home.
I can help with arangements.

Yes. If it needs a shell, you would do better to part it out.

You can buy a #s project 70 GTO for around $6,000 or below now.

Hard to sell these cars this day and time.

I am in same boat, cant give stuff away and not able to part things out.
Almost easier to junk it and move forward if its in the way or slowing you down.

People are not starting projects anymore...dont need parts like three years back, plus not spending money either when they can buy one done for a fraction of the cost of the build.

Hey Jeff

Thanks for the reply, I don't think the market is dead yet, it's still pretty strong up here, parts go very well if they are decent.
I just thought someone might want a project for a fair price before I do part it out.

Have a good one!
