Well this 1st piece is for a SB OLDS 438(?) combo... I think shootin for 800HP or so... NOT a diesel block so it should be a good test. SBO is a whole bunch weaker downstairs than our Pontiacs. It will certainly be tested.

Carl's shop did the balancing in my current 455. The price was fair also.

Yeah, Carl's brother Steve is a friend who ran a mini-rod with us many years ago. Their shop is in Stafford, near LeRoy. I honestly don't remember, but I probably talked with them when shopping for align-boring; along with Paul Litke and a couple other shops near there. A place on the north side of Buffalo (I'd have to go look for the name) wound up doing a very "particular" job of align-boring the hemi block.

... or has built a record breaking DOHC hemi four cylinder Pontiac?
... or has driven a couple laps of Nuerburgring with Tri-Power Pontiac power?(back in 1967)
