The young people in crowds who DO NOT have them are the ones who stand out. Immediately they look like young people who think more of themselves.
Here is the deal, tattoos are mainstream because of TV shows popularizing them and they come from gang culture and prison culture. And the popularity of them on women is advanced through the mainstreaming of PORN culture on women.
Like I said tattoos suck.
Go ahead, make you body some billboard.
Really??? Many a soldier, sailor, marine, and airman sported a tattoo long before it was as popular(many got in trouble for violating regulations doing so)... My kid outgrew her tattoo desire... there was parental guidance that went with her having a temporary tattoo. Yep, some kids could get carried away... especially with improper parenting... and you'll never fix adults who are stupid.

I tell my two teenage daughters, The GOOD JOB market is WAY to competitive to handicap yourself with a visible tats and/or piercings.

Got no problem with a temp tat from the local Arts Fair as long as they understand the consequences of something permanent.

People who have served, different deal. I have known plenty of men who did not know if they were going to live the next day. A tat is nothing to them.
Its 2014 and if you want to get all inked up fine. But there is a reason tattoo removal is a growing business.
One of the worst are the dopes who get religious things like crosses and scripture tatted on themselves. Forgetting that tattoos are forbidden in the bible. Maybe they should get that verse inked on. Collin Kappertat comes to mind. What a idiot.
I am just sick of tattoos. Try and tell me all this "meaning" for tattoos did not come straight out of prison like the "teardrop" under the eye for some fallen prison loser. I do not care if it is your kids name, its lame.
They think it adds to themselves, but it takes away from themselves.
With every tat a gal gets she lowers the potential level mate she can get. Not to say there are not some great guys who are fine with it, but overall the pool gets lowered.
So why do it.

... I know right ?? ... I just meant for this thread to be fun and hopefully a little funny too, they wash off guys no biggie, and trust me guys, the boy knows exactly how a real one is made and he wants no part of it ... when he's of age he'll be well on his way to becoming a good man, a little tatoo will not get in the way of that ...

Paul Rash had the Bible verse tattooed on the base of his neck.

He was a crazy fun dude!

Well... at least you have an open mind about it! I'm not sure why you think they originate in prison? the best they can tell it started in Egypt about 1800 BC. I don't have any, but I think it would be sort of dumb to judge someone by this, I've dated several women with them, as well as piercings, not a real big deal!

I can remember getting tattoos in Cracker Jacks. No harm. Certainly didn't make me want to become a criminal or cover myself with them.
