Default 65 Catalina console

At least that's what it says

I bought it for my 64 not knowing it was a total different animal.

Before I make the mistake again, could you guys tell me what fits my 64 Catalina
Is it just that ? The 64 Catalina ?

I appreciate it

I have a '64 Grand Prix, and I can tell you that the automatic '63 and '64 Grand Prix consoles interchange. I assume the manual transmission ones will too. Is your Catalina manual or auto? The Bonneville console I've heard is similar to the Grand Prix ones, but is different and won't fit properly. Not sure how the '64 Catalina console is different than the GP. The '62 and '65 (and up) are different cars and the consoles will likely not fit.

The 63 and 64 auto consoles are physically the same, but they have some paint differences.

The 65s' are completely different, as you have found out.

Good luck,

I don't know if the consoles are different between Bonnevilles and Cat/GPs, but you will most likely find one from a GP, 63 or 64 would fit.

If you are still looking for a '64 console and bucket seats, there is a guy on craigslist listing both from a '64 GP along with other parts. I see the ad on Bakersfield, California under cars and trucks for sale. He says he is actually in Ridgecrest. Maybe you know someone near there.
