I'm partial to Seven Bridges Road... Tequila Sunrise is pretty nice too.

Not a huge Ealges fan; they get too much credit for inventing "country rock" ; almost forgotten, Poco is the original. The Eagles and Poco rotated musicians Randy Meisner & Timothy B. Schmidt often.

Originally done by Steve Young and Ian Matthews if I remember correctly; the Eagles probably did the best version, though.

But Taking it Easy is a good driving down the road song...

"The Limit"

"Get Over It!"

Wasn't Poco "big" in the later '70s/early '80s? (CRS!)

They (Eagles) were "dyin'". Joe Walsh "stepped in", "Hotel California", LANDMARK albumn...(:-

The "farewell one" tour DVD recorded in Melbourne is great. Has all of the above tunes in a great performance.

I sooooo have to agree with this George. I have it on DVD and play it from time to time. It shows just how professional they are and the extreme of their talent. I happen to think visually, its as peaceful as some of their music. Very well done concert.

Its hard to pick the best songs as Im a big fan.

In this order:
Beatles
Eagles
Elvis
Van Halen.
