If I use a RA IV cam with unported, "stock" E-heads would any of you suggest changing the springs or using the ones supplied with the heads? Edelbrock says there would be no problems, but I would feel safer with a dual valve spring. Any brand suggestions for springs for the RA IV cam?

Any other cam suggestions for unported E-heads?

455, Performer RPM, Q jet, TH400, 3.55, P/S, PDB, A/C(?), 72 Lemans conv.

Thanks for any help.

They will be fine. I'm running a .600" lift solid (.575" after lash) with the stock springs. That's about the max they will handle. With a RAIV cam, they will work just fine. In fact, that's one of the cams (Performer RPM) they recommend with their stock heads.
