That's unfortunate, too bad the weather didn't cooperate.

The white stuff (12") is already melting since it is 40 degrees outside today, so the snow is compressing and doesn't look as deep as it was yesterday when we got back home. This is nothing compared to the big dump in New York I realize. It's frustrating when the weekend before, and now the upcoming Thanksgiving weekend are much better weather where we would have taken the car .

I see the serial number 001 1955 Chrysler 300 was unveiled at the show, a 1,000 point car. https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/....986906/page-8

Finally found the correct 4179 factory Hurst shifter handle for the 1968 B-bodies. This is the last detail to make the Catalina completely correct.

The Final Detail...Done!
Dan was able to get the correct 4179 Hurst shifter handle installed today and it certainly completes the Catalina's look in the interior. The correct shifter makes such a huge difference ergonomically (balls in the right place...lol).

Such a beautiful job. Green (for envy) is the perfect color...
Any chance of some magazine coverage? It would be great to see it in Muscle Machines... |

Hopefully someday it'll be in a magazine (or 2?). It hasn't been out in the public yet...

I'd rather see the general public get a whiff of your car vs. only Pontiac folks getting to see it.

Diego, I get it, however, that'll be Dan's call. It may be at MCACN this year (weather permitting) and could be on display at the Pure Stock Drags (if it doesn't go to MCACN)...again, totally Dan's call. But, I think it's safe to say it will get some print, though limited these days, as well as digital muscle car enthusiast video websites.

Here's a couple of nice fall pictures of the car when it was pleasantly mild outside.

I for one would love to see that car in Hemmings Muscle Machines. In the last year or so, they have been skewing heavily toward original owner cars, day 2 cars and pretty heavily modified restomods. I don't think they have had a car of the quality and detail your beautiful, authentic, restoration presents in several years. Your car may be too nice for that magazine. Car is incredible.
