no problem with my nose, it isn't twisted. It is just tough getting everything to line up right because of so many variables.

Yes this started as a 79 shell. But really, changing a roof is quite easy ) I could have put on 5 roofs in the time and effort it took to make the rubber bumper rear end be a chrome bumper car. That was a job!! More things than you can imagine are different and come into play. Having a good taillight panel is one step, but having nothing to attach it to is another )

The T/A is basically stock other then I have 1.65 rockers on a crane 068 cam copy.so It easily can be changed back to stock.the HO heads were shaved enough for 9.5 compression and it has a 71 455 quadrajet on it ,but not the original HO carb. All balanced ,cc'd ,windage tray etc..The original block was gone long ago but the heads and intake came with the car.I found a 1970 4 bolt main block with caps and thats whats in it.Also had to buy a new crank. The car was originally a custom saddle interior that I changed to a Ivory interior with black dash and console.Lots of pieces were missing or needed replacing. Not a cheap endevor in this day and age even when you do most of it yourself.

Default 72 TA

Here's my 72 that I restored back in 81. It's showing a little wear now but it still looks good. All original #'s car. This TA set me back a whopping $950 back in 81! Those were the days!

It still has the original plastic front valance. They were molded in whatever color your car was (white in my case) but they were not available as a replacement part. You had to get a sheetmetal valance & fillers for the turn signals from GM if you got too close to a parking curb. The plastic valance is another one of those weird late 72-73 parts for the TA's. I think the Parts Place does have a 72-73 valance available in fiberglass now.

mmiller, that is one cool looking Formula. It may need a little work but it looks like it has lots of potential. It also looks to be pretty much unmolested, which to me is a big plus. By unmolested I mean that it looks to have most of its original parts.
