Couple of resources here that may help you. The Timing Table Generator (remove the *.txt) was orginally created by Justin M. Lloyd, revised by Candu SNO, and further modified by myself. (Got to give Credit where it is due.)

Are you using the 3.5" hand held to tune or the laptop cable with the Holley software? Pro tip, the hand held is good enough to get it started. Not good enough to tune it.

OK. Datalog your cruising RPM/MAP cells, for example if you're cruising at 2500rpm and 40kpa, try about 42* timing from 2250rpm --> 2750rpm and 38kpa all the way to the lowest vacuum cell. Then highlight the last 42* cells and go 3-4 cells past that and blend so the timing ramps away under a) load and b) faster/slower RPM. I don't have my tuning laptop near me (in hospital atm, heart failure... ergh) but I vaguely recollect running 44* timing in my 400 Pontiac with edelbrock heads. My turbo LS3 runs about 45* timing at cruise and I recently did a turbo 5.3 LS with a Holley Terminator and it was happy with about 42* timing at cruise.

I found from my experience with tuning over the years, make your spark tables smooth and transition through curves. Your fuel table doesn't need to be smooth. The intake tract is jerky as hell and will change air speed all the time but definitely pay attention to spark table cleanliness.
