The guy popped up on the Yenko board - says it's the only one to have been delivered new to Canada. No confirmation yet on if its an L75 or LS5.

If it's a HO then that's #3 of the 7 built, Forest has one, the Yellow one from Mecum & now the Sundance car.

Good call.

The Sunny-O GT 'vert HO in Dan's charts IS a Honeycomb car, FWIW . . .

Stripe chart says Black for Sundance. I agree white would be better.

Stripe chart is incorrect in this case, Chris.

I've never seen a factory Sunny-O car with anything but white stripes and callouts . . .

EDIT: Now I'm thinking that since the GT stripes we're not available in white, that the black GT stripes would def be correct, and possibly the "RAM AIR" callouts as well.

Yessir, Pat.

The LeMans "Sport" option included vinyl buckets, up-level door trim panels with pull straps, carpeting and padded rear seat armrests with ash trays, etc.

I wonder about the "RAM AIR" call outs on the hood. Anyone out there have an original, or know of one first hand that actually had the callouts on the hood as it came from the factory? I have talked to the original owner of my car, and he says the car did not come with the RAM AIR callouts on the hood.

Yep - thanks for jogging my feeble memory, Pat.

We had this discussion a few years back and (as I recall) we came to the conclusion that a non-GTO optioned '72 LeMans was not factory equipped with the "RAM AIR" callouts.

I thought that's what we came up with, but I wasn't for sure. Still like to hear from anyone else out there that may have some info.....as we all know, there is nothing "absolute" when it comes to factory "correct"

In this case guys, I would think there would have to be some consistency. Weren't all of the 72 HO's built at the Pontiac Plant? I know all of the convertibles were.

All 71 & 72 Convertibles came from the Pontiac plant.

A quick check of some of my HO docs yielded post and hardtop HOs were built at the Atlanta (A), Framingham (G), Fremont (Z) and Pontiac (P) assembly plants.

All of the HO 'vert docs I found showed that they were indeed assembled at the Pontiac plant only.

If it was a convertible in 72 it has to be a LeMans as there were/are no GTO convertibles made in 72. The Last convertible GTO was the 71 modle year.
