Have you ever seen pics of the titanic with the rusticals hanging from it? That's what I thought of.

The ultimate Ying and Yang TA photo..... Not bad plastic and endura parts on an Trans am that looks like someone regularly washed in salt water followed by an acid rinse. That fact someone can over time observe that biological scientific process in front of their eyes on a perfectly good car is astounding. The list of stupid stuff that person has done in their life would probably be a sad humorous read.

Door panels were the same for crank/power window cars. Factory put a Firebird emblem (that's missing from these panels) in the holes where the cranks were supposed to go.

What surprises me about those panels is how un-warped and apparently in good shape they are given how much water must have been getting into that interior.

Look at the picture of the right hand door panel. Looks like I see a manual window shaft for the crank handle sticking out there. No?

That (column shift) would be something you could change & it would have no adverse effect on the value of the car - would likely improve it!

This car reminds me of the one that WERANCE has as his avatar.

The reproduction sheet metal required to rebuild the shell is all available so that's not that big a deal. Just have to fashion yourself a nice alignment jig to keep it all straight. Wonder if this one came with the big hood bird decal?
