Yep just made my trip back from Earlville Iowa it was the last NHRA division 5 race of the year. and like usual I got my first round kick in the nuts!BUT I did go a 10.88@144.80 on Saturday which was my performance goal for the year!!!!! that I'm very happy with, and knocking on the door of the top 10 with 1 race left that i can claim. Also FWIW I was told by quite a few people that I race with that they were very impressed with my car. My comment was to bad the Pontiac community thinks my junk is slow. but oh well i cant help but love living in this Disfunctional family.I'm pleased with the way this turd is running and if I can get someone to go with me I'll be taking my junk to the national in TX in 2wks.AND YES! It will have a settle APD decal on the car!

Glad to hear things are coming around for you. How was the traction at Earlville? It was pretty bad and we stopped going, wondering if its gotten better.

It's a Super STreet car that runs a 10.90 NHRA index. Not a typo. I know there's more than a few people that don't like it but it's fun to me.

John Holmes went 8.14 @ 144 clicking the car at around 1000' in the white 63 Tempest this past weekend at Byron. This is a stock block 463ci engine with un-ported standard runner CV-1's. Using my calculators, that's about 6.16 lbs per ci.

What is that red 65 GTO, around 6.40 lbs per ci???
