Default IA II blocks & Roller cam bearings

I'm currently upgrading an IA II block to roller (50 mm) cam bearings. I was wondering what others aware doing to insure adequate oiling to the timing chain area? It looks as if the factory design (hole in the retainer plate) will not provide much oiling to this area. Is mist/splash enough, or are you drilling a small hole in one of the front galley plugs? Thanks, Bill--
