Talking Just another day @ the dyno

Had a good dyno day today - freshen on Aaron Miltons' engine.
952 HP @ 7500
744 TQ @5700
Trying a new combo for his dragster. IAII/541 CI/Kaufmann Hi Ports/BOP intake/Comp
roller cam 280"s@ .050, .848 lift./single dominator 1200./T&D rocker 1,75.
Probably could have used a bigger carb, pulled 1181 cfm@7500.

Questions/comments? - Bill -

Bill,

Great job! Were the heads prepared by KRE or someone else? Alky motor?

Great job! Bill you say it could've used a bigger carb. I have a very very nice 1375 dominator Aaron is more than welcome to use or try it out if you think it will help him out.I never had a lick of trouble with it I used it for the last 2 yrs and opted for a throttle stop carb.....Anything I can do to help Aaron. He's been a tremendous help to my family.

Congrats on the HP!
Looks like a good bracket engine.

Aaron what was the HP of the engine used before?

Looks like some 7.50's in your future now?

Awesome. Great feeling when it all starts to come together.

What do the heads flow? Aluminum or steel rods. Billet or forged crank?

Thanks

Thanks everyone. This combo utilized the KRE 430cfm Hi Ports. Oliver steel rods. Crower Billet Crank. Previous HP is not relevant given the number of changes on this combo. This is a Bracket/Super Comp combination built for reliability that will get 200 runs/year.

Jason: I'll take you up on your offer of the carb for testing purposes and will call you next week.

Good deal. Your more than welcome to it. I could give it to Donnie in Great Bend if you want. I always look foward to hearing from ya.

Sign me up Aaron and bill. . Those are great numbers for a motor that won't just make 30 passes a year like others do
