My HS's are small already .018 front ,013 back .

I remember back when i was tuning with 91 . I was having a rich problem with my original older 1050 . I couldn't get it lean enough in the mid range. So i changed over to this newer one im using now which got me to the AFR i was looking for. So im thinking of setting up the old one for e85 and see if i can get it richer . Maybe there's something wrong with this newer one im using now..

Im not at the point to go EFI . I want to get it working with the carburetor.. EFI is nice to have . Its nice being able to log ..

What worries me is will a 12.6 afr be lean enough to burn the motor up on e85 that naturally aspirated ?

I’m using my fast afr meter which was for gas, n it’s hard to read cause it’s used but it looks like it’s around 12.0? I have the A1000 pump .

You won’t burn it up, ethanol is very forgiving compared to gas I was told!

Thats good to hear .

The motor seems to really like the tune at 12.6 . But from all that ive read and have been told by a the fast n/a guys at the track is to shoot for 11.8 to12.0 with a #7 heat range for the plug. But i use a #8 because i like the color of the plug better then the #7. This motor makes peak power at 6600 but i shift 7200 into third because it recovers instantly .. With that said id rather be on the richer side of the tune..

I made them small just to jump on the extreme side because everything i was trying wasn't resulting into any positive change . So i just left them there . I usually have them between .024 - .026 . So basically i was experimenting . I was surprised when nothing changed..

How are you feeding the current pump? Fuel cell? Stock tank?

That should work fine as long as it's in the lowest part of the tank. Maybe the 125 pump can't keep up against the g force?
