are you talking about straight alcohol or e85? I went 30 percent ...
I think it's around 39%. (not much difference between E85 and E100 I think)

Straight methanol is about double.

I messed up on terminology. What I meant to say is the pins that locks the booster in place.

Ive been looking for a set being mine aren't in good shape.

They get sketchy to drill after about .185 real thin, unless u go to that bigger pin and the drill out the banjo for it, Are you drilling it out after installed in body? They shrink back down a tad if u drill them beforehand and need to ream them back out some after installed i have found, .180 Is fine for you no need to go bigger on pin. I'm on E85 now

Ok i figured you were .

What it was , was i converted over to E85, so i drilled them in place to see if that worked out first . When i saw one was loose i took it apart and found the pin was like you said very thin and fell apart at the end . So for now i just put it back together with some loc-tight . The pins before i drilled them were 160's.

So now i will probably get the .170's and drill them .

I was thinking a bout getting the big ones and try them .. Not sure yet on what i will do. If having the bigger ones in there wont hurt maybe ill just get them . At least ill have growing room for the future.

For now i want to test the car and see if the changes i made make any difference. So far i got the car running and it sounds and idles real good. Today is a wet one so i have to wait.

On a positive note, The holes i drilled in the metering blocks and main body for the pump-shot feed seem to have made things better on the bog i was having ...

.160 is fine on gas, not for E85. Get the .170’s and loctite them in and then drill to .180 and you’ll be fine , better to use a reamer as it won’t leave drill marks , just step up the drill bits til u get to .180 so not taking big chunks!

What size are your pump shots/squirter's? Do you or did you have any issues with bogging or hesitation?

But you leave on a transbrake, have you left on the footbrake since converting to E85?

I put the external linkage kit on mine from blp, its in the 3rd hole so close to to 1-1 but not quite, its money well spent!

Tested the car today and its still the same at WOT. At this point im not sure on what else to try. Anyone have any suggestions ? I just want to say that i really appreciate everyone's input so far ..

One good thing is that the bog is 90% gone now . So i have to work on that a bit more . But the lack of fuel problem at WOT really has me stumped .. I guess ill try a different carburetor because i feel like ive tried everything with this one ..

Have you tried decreasing the high speed air bleeds? I have no idea how much (or little) can be gained there or if it's super relative... Maybe get some comparable data from those that have one that's working well. Or convert it to EFI and be done with it

Do u have a pressure gauge where u can see it? That pump is probably to small or right on the edge! I never liked that pump, tried it years ago in my Grandville!
