What did it run?

The usual,,, can't 60 ft. with street ties and 2.20 first gear muncie and 3.31 rear. 8.70 @ 87 mph with 2.32 60 ft. Try to leave too hard and it blows the tires away and then it's over. It's a dance. I could try some sort of sticky tires but I don't want to break something....just run test and tune playing. If it had a auto I'd be well into the 7's. 60 ft is hurting my mph also.

I did 2 runs and then took out the DA secondary rods and replaced them with CE and the next 2 runs it picked up a little mph so it liked the rods so the y are staying in. It was humid out so the air wasn't great.

Yeah a stick with a 2.20 1st gear and 3.31's isn't going to set the world on fire at the stop lights. Really hard to get that to 60 foot.
Still fun though, that's what it's all about

The TKX trans would be nice,,,better gearing for take offs and a OD for highway cruising. Right now I turn 3k at 70mph. It's got its original m21 still in it.

Thanks and I believe the current mph is not showing what it could do. Its wasting alot of momentum in that 1st gear. From past cars ive run as comparison if the car had a better 1oo ft from sticky tires and a tkx ,.M20 or a auto trans the mph would be atleast 90 mph.
