I have a 65 Tempest Custom Convertible with a power top. It has a GLASS rear window however. The window must be zipped out and in when raising and lowering the top. Is this an original top, or an aftermarket thing? Having to get out to zip a top defeats the purpose of a power top in my opinion. What do you think???

It is my understanding that the 68-72 had glass windows & 64-67 had plastic. You can get a glass b/w (aftermarket). My 64 GTO Conv has orig. plastic. I use a shop in North Hollywood called Rags to Riches 818-503-0645
ask for Robert. He may be able to help you out further. |
