Is this the same casting that John Marcella made a 1000 hp with?

Yes the Darin Morgan at Reher-Morrison. He liked my roughed out intake port so he left it as is. He spent 2 hours on my exhaust port...so I guess I screwed that one up :-) He did the chamber complete. He is not concerned about the plug location.

John Marcella,
What ignition advance did you end up with on your Pro Port hot rod? The power yours is making is a significant milestone in Pontiac performance. Congrats.

See you fellas at Norwalk '12. Look for the big yellow Bonneville drag car with skirts and 8 lugs...you cant miss it. Any other dooce and a qwater (2.25 tons) want to line up on Friday?

31.5 It will probably take a little more in first gear.

Jim,

Darin is an incredible resource. He must have like the shape of your intake or you would know it. He spent about 15 minutes on my E-heads and found another 10 CFM, then he wanted to add a tail behind the guide and we lost 10 CFM, he always preaches you have to try prove your work and just can't assume it will work.

Will have one of our latest Pro Ports at Norwalk '12. Come by our pits (blue canopy with Texas flag) for a look see. Will have some other unique stuff for sale also. Drive careful.

I am sure its due to the bad economy or maybe its his trans or convertor slips to much or carb or lack of development time or maybe there is just a conspiracy against John. Those excuses seem to work for others John. LOL

Because its a complete pile of chit and wont run. I made up the dyno sheet just to have fun, it really only makes 510 hp so i think im doing pretty good. Its not because of any kind of parts failure or just lack of time, or testing. There is never any shake down time required for new combinations. It should run its best out of the trailer.
But even though it was a POS at norwalk its not like it was a funny car that only mustered 8.??? pass. That would really suck.

I dont make excuses. As of today its a POS. But thats the car, motor , and tuner collectively.
The motor is a good piece, but hey i expect people to take full advantage wile they can, so to every one that wants to look like an a$$ in a few months----FIRE A WAY MFs I can take it

Slowbird this is not aimed at you
