Okay, here is the background on my T-37 again.
The car was bought through R. G Berg Motors in Kodiak, AK. He was a full GM dealership. It was picked up by me at the SEATAC Airport at a parking lot near by. It was prepped by an independent shop in Renton (near SeaTac). Not sure how it got there from Freemont. I had a GMAC loan (still have the documents). Don't know if that helps or not. No real $$ off as i traded in another car on it. . Here is the orignal link. http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...highlight=T-37 Ask away.

Thanks guys! I can finally see the other side of the restoration as the interior was sweet and mostly complete.
The NOS stripes I got awhile back (before repops) from a PY member are red/white eyebrows. Next steps are back to Dan's garage for tune-ups and final installation items. Darrell did his job in fine style. Thought it would never get this far..... Got the dash redone and new bezel too. Got correct shifter and black knob too. Headliner was NOS in trunk, and my hope that it works! PS: Chrome should be awesome as I paid a king ransom for The Finishing Touch..Gold plating would have been cheaper. haha.

Car is looking great. I thought when the car was ordered with factory gauges it came with a wood grain bezel? I still have the original black bezel for my GT-37.

I decided to keep factory gauges, and forgo the wood for the black, add formie wheel, and keep radio delete plate in place. Just me...

Mike:
The car is stunning! Can't wait to see it finished. I sort of feel that in some small way the funds from my purhcase of your 71 455 H.O. car have helped bring this car to its current state. I have especially enjoyed following its progress. Congrats on how it has turned out. BJ

Just a quick question. Did you install guages as I see it does not have the wood grain around the guages/speedo/tach or did you take it off? Just wondering.

Factory installed gauges, and came to me without woodgrain decal and radio delete....
I felt it looked better without decal as the restoration dragged on. Some quirks seem to make me think some were factory goof-ups. IE: the rocker had holes that looked factory but not on PHS. Car came with rocker molding too... Car also had a 455 emblem in grill.

Looks good Mike, and I already made my contribution!!! Bet you can't wait to get it on the road, will it be together before the snow flies?
Lyn.

I have a couple of NOS white/red stripes (left & right rear quarter) if you need spares.

Simply Stunning!
Mike,
I can't wait to see it back at Dan's. Darrell is doing an awsome job. Your GT-37 is going to set the bar really high and I predict at least 4 magazine articles. You can't get any better than pretty and fast. Dennis |
