Wires cut to length and use this style

The only way to get wires that fit right, especially with looms, is you have to cut to fit, period.
Buy the tool, it's inexpensive, and you will be surprised how much it pays for iteself: https://www.amazon.com/Stripping-Pro...s%2C86&sr=8-32 I use Moroso looms, and a couple of the plastic separators to keep the wires off the top of the covers. Unfortunately, you may have to buy additional plastic holders, depending on your setup. I think this is one I generally use, but have also used a chevy one, and bought a pair of straight stands too: https://www.moroso.com/small-block-f...ck-7-9mm72133/ EDIT: I use multi-angle boots on the wires .

Sounds mean! Is that a little belt squeal (not trying to be mean)?

Yes it is. I gotta tighten the PS belt but with the CVF racing V belt setup the alternator has to come off to get to the tensioner and I have had too many other things.

Well I am changing the order of doing things to minimize downtime. The upholstery shop is being slow so I am taking the car to the exhaust shop Tuesday to get the exhaust done then dropping it off to have the heat and AC installed. That way all that’s done when the seat does come back and I don’t have to wait for all that stuff to be done to drive it.

No mufflers right now you just can’t tell how loud it is in the video. Mufflers are black widow though

Does anyone think I will have to rejet the carb because I am using the TORKER II but only for street use? I watched an Engine Masters episode tonight that was on this very topic. Their opinion was street cars need dual planes because of reduced signal to the carb. Other than black smoke from the exhaust what else do I need to look for?

Don't think with your cubes and gearing that the T2 will be a problem. Cubic inches and intake volume determines how fast vacuum signal builds. Correct that with the right strength power valve. Clay PS edit Need to get exhaust hooked up before you start tweaking the carb. Cam overlap and any exhaust restriction at all can have major changes to the carbs vacuum signal. That's other than a plain old flooding problem. Last edited by "QUICK-SILVER"; 03-30-2022 at 11:04 AM. Reason: More info |

Has anyone had an aftermarket air system installed and if so how much did you pay?

I haven’t but read somewhere it is 20-25 hours labor. If no interior maybe less hours. Have you considered doing yourself? I’m doing mine - so far pretty straight forward.
