ARP assembly lube
I have 2 different part numbers. One is 100-9902 and the other is 100-9908. What's the difference between the two, or one a superseded number?

ARP changed the "formula" for their fastener assembly lube. The "new" version is LESS slippery, but more consistent than the previous version. This change was made years ago.
9908 is still listed on Summit as a half-ounce packet. 9902 is also a half-ounce packet, "No longer available". If you have the old torque specs, you could use the old lube. Don't use the old lube with new torque specs. |
