Default How is this cam NA and with a 200 shot

How is this cam NA and with a 200 shot of Nitrous. It seems to run pretty good NA. Hopefully I can get it to the track next year. I bought these from Crower on sale a while back. I am running this cam in a 455 with KRE aluminum D ports.

lift......Intake......Exhaust.....%
100....77.1..........62.6.........81.1
200....150.6.........114.6........76
300....204.9.........152.9........74.6
400....250...........177.9........71.1
500....288.2.........200.3........69.5
600....319.1.........226.6........71
700....336.8.........239.7........70.5

Thanks,

Robert

274 degrees duration @ .050" lift? 120 lb. seat pressure closed? Did I read that right? That's the "biggest" flat tappet cam I've ever seen.

It is big. I am running a bit more spring pressure though.

Jesus...the peaks of the lobes on it must be flat to have that much duration and still provide adequate "ramps" for a flat tappet lifter. The "baby" solid roller I had in the Discomobile was only in the low 260's @ .050".

Back in the 70's I ran a GK SFT cam in my track only SBC that had 280 degrees @ 050. UltraDyne offers SFT cams up to 296 degrees @ 050.

Wow Stan in a SBC that cam really must of rumbled. I need to get a better Carburetor for the street as the 1150 is a bit rich at idle and light cruising, but is fine if at full throttle or higher RPMs.

Thanks,

Robert
