Is that a real Judge? I had a white 69 Judge quite a few years back, and the owner had the same decal under the GTO emblem as on your car.

Yes it is a real judge however the hood had been replaced. It has hideaways, hood tach and stock ram air going back on this spring.

400 4spd Love those Red Lines

I love that GTO, I would drive the heck out of that think just like it is! Im not that young and I havent seen side pipes on one of those either. I always liked the looks of them on the vettes, but have been told that they tend to be loud, but isn't that what a muscle car is supposed to be!!

SPSTTF!
Had Thrush(think called "Outsiders") on my 1st 68FB late 70's/80's.
The outlets faced down instead of outwards.
Had to get real creative running pipes from headers but was best sounding exhaust ever!
Loved making bare patches in gravel driveways and at outdoor theater

This is the only 66-7 GTO that I have seen with side pipes.

IMO, does nothing to improve the look

I can picture it with some chrome Lakes pipes dumping where the rocker molding ends! That's a cool project you have there.
