Why was this removed? Is it an original part or a reproduction?

The car has been resto modded so it now has an aftermarket radiator and electric fans. I suspect these parts are reproduction but I don’t know for sure. If there are part numbers I can validate please let me know.

Does the fan guard not work with the aftermarket radiator? I have a Cold Case radiator on order for my '65.

I believe it will clear the new radiator I just prefer the cleaner look
