What Brad said sounds good, the bar would then be "cut in half" midpoint being the diff...makes for a stiffer sway bar. Clamps at the diff? Sounds a little messy...

All of the B body front pics on here are of mine. Were you interested in more?
My e-mails to RARE have yet to be answered, but I seem to have all the useful info. BTW....I will be mounting my rear sway bar with the Fabcraft kit (differential mounting brackets inbroad of the lower control arm bracket; sway bar mounted to the frame).

I'll look up Fabcraft and see how that works. I've hears that shop makes a lot of good stuff to support the old B Body stuff. You're going to get a much thicker front sway bar, also?

I have the Fabcraft rear sway bar kit on my 62. I like it, but don't know how it would compare to the typical control arm mounted sway bars supplied by RARE.
There was a definite improvement in my car's handling after installing it. If you're working on a 62 or newer, be prepared to do some welding or have someone that can weld, lined up. It's not a major project, but you'll need to weld 90 degree brackets to the frame, along with adding triangular shape pieces they sell, to the rear in order to bolt the bushing brackets to the shock mount area. 61 rears had the proper shock mount thingies already in place, so no extra work needs to be done on them. Just 62 up. If you call them, Brad's very good at explaining what has to be done. Again.. A welcome improvement. If you'd like superior handling, either kit should put a smile on your face.

Great pics, thanks for posting. I have a factory rear bar I plan to add to my '63 Safari but have nothing else for it. Do the link brackets bolt onto the frame? I assume any of the parts needed can be ordered from Brad.
I have an Addco front bar on it already.

Yes, the link bracket bolt to the frame.

Nice setup!

Are those urethane bushings at the frame? I'd like to get me some of those.

That's what I thought. Bolting the sway bar to the diff and the frame makes infinitely more sense than bolting it to the control arms that are known to flex.

Infinitely? Hey, it may be better and maybe big tubular control will flex a little...who knows. I do know that it doesn't look cobby and inelegant.
