thought some of you would enjoy seeing these pictures.
been helping my friend build ths car for the past couple of months. i did all the fabricating welding, body work, and paint. for you nostalgia buffs....... we're building this car to accurately resemble the race cars of the early 1960's. i even donated vintage hot rod/racing water decals. car has a 57 pontiac rear end with 4.30 gears. old M&H RACE MASTER SLICKS on chrome reversed wheels. enjoy http://home.pacbell.net/a40sgal/tempest4.jpg http://home.pacbell.net/a40sgal/tempest5.jpg http://home.pacbell.net/a40sgal/tempest6.jpg http://home.pacbell.net/a40sgal/tempest7.jpg |

we know what your saying tom but....
1.we didn't want to exactly copy you and tyree's cars. 2. we wanted to build a car that never really existed and was different than anythng that was run in the good ol days....but still looks very nostalgic. (something right out of the mc carthy book) that said we really salute you guys for keeping the indian faith and racing those poncho's back then! axle |

loved seeing your pictures! i'm sure everyone would enjoy seeing more if you have them. got any pics of the rear end modification? there is a whole generation of old geezers who deserve a flashback of that caliber. i wish more people would post pics of their projects. it makes me feel like going out and turning a wrench right now.
