I found these two local dealership emblems at a flea market this weekend. Some of these die cast emblems get very ornate.

Looks like I have some of the same ones. Not a huge collection like yours though Jeff. I just grab the ones that catch my eye or if they are local dealerships.

I used to deliver to Don Welch in Lock Haven PA, and Cannon in Mass back in the 70s and 80s.

First one is from the Pontiac dealer So. Orange, NJ I delivered to. Same surname as mine. Looks 100% better than the picture makes it out to be. Had no place to put it back in the 80s so I stuck it on my tool box lid. LOL Had a second one but I can't find it. I only wish I had thought to collect these when I delivered to dealers.

Second is only Jones sticker from Jones Pontiac in Lancaster, PA where my GTO was sold new. Only a sticker as I was told they never attached the potmetal emblems to the cars they sold, and they no longer had any license plate frames laying around. Sets just right to read Jones Pontiac on the tail panel. LOL

Default ROUGHTON PONTIAC NORFOLK VIRGINIA

Not the Dealership of my '66 Lemans that was Ray Forshay Long Branch NJ.

Roughton Pontiac was one of if not the largest dealers here in Hampton Roads.
Started in Norfolk and relocated to Virginia Beach Virginia and possibly
second only to Bratten Pontiac Home of the Jolly Green Giant also in Norfolk.

Bob Roughton/ROUGHTON PONTIAC played a vital roll with The Largest ALL GTO club in Virginia Beach (G.T.O.S.) he was the club sponsor from 1986 to 1999 something that a lot of dealerships would not take on, so we were very lucky to have them. That's why I have/keep this plaque. I have a magnetic strip on the back to display it at will.

The JARMAN PONTIAC I found in a local bone yard and thought it was neat as it was very similar to the ROUGHTON plaque.

The picture of the FORSHAY sign is the ROUGHTON sign I photo-shopped years ago,
I did see it made its way over and recycled on the POCI website awhile back

REWARD PAID. For any Ray Forshay Dealership memorabilia.

You have some nice examples there...

I bought one that was my sons name but a FORD dealer...pretty unique, old pot metal style.

BTY...Jeff, Do you still have your Pontiac Refrigerator? That's a very cool piece of Pontiac garage art!.... love to see a picture again.

PS: HEY LES...you out there? I sent you a letter month or so back, but don't know how to elect contact you...willing to trade some when you are ready...hope you're on here still and well.

Since I have Sonny Hancock Pontiac on my PHS and Bob Beck Pontiac on my build sheet, I would love to find an emblem or plate frame from either dealer. Which dealer would be the correct selling dealer?

Default Sedars Pontiac

Our 63 Lemans convertible was sold at Sedars Pontiac in Mason City, Iowa. The dealership is still there, but sells Honda! (no GM) The emblem was on the left corner of the trunk lid. The indian symbol is tells you this was an exclusive Pontiac dealer at one time.

My 69 GTO came from McNamara Pontiac in Orlando FL.

I would be interested in a dealer name plate or other items from that dealership.

Only one of the half dozen cars I have had has had one.

My '66 wagon was built in Kansas City. Might put this one on it whenever I get a re-paint. I always think of 'Me & Bobby McGee' when I see it.

Absolutely still do Jeff. A very good friend of mine that passed on a few years back willed that and some other neat Pontiac stuff to me. Those items will be here as long as I am around. I would much rather he be here with us still and looking at the stuff in his place yet! They are all keepsakes that my son will end up with as he remembers them at Dave's house too. He is sadly missed.

I am also looking for the following and would trade a needed emblem for any of mine in comparable condition.

Era correct (1969 - 1971) dealer emblems, license plate frames, or ANY DEALER ITEMS from: Dan Wolf Pontiac in LaGrange Ill., Colonial Motor sales in Naperville, Ill, Montgomery Motor Sales Inc. in Lebanon MO, and Warren L. Langwith Inc. in Davenport, Iowa. Thanks!

I was looking for a metal storage cabinet on Craigslist and this is what I ended up with. The guys father worked at a Chevy dealership and when cars came in on trade he took the emblems off. He had three more cabinets but wasn't going to sell them. I store all my spray paint in it now.
