Driggers is getting ready to be back out with his.
I bought the Mustang heads back.
Poe sold his closed chamber to buy another set of big chamber for the Turbo.
Syron sold his? REALLY?

Hi Bruce, I'm glad to hear things are on the upside for you. I never thought or implied you had issues with your heads. I simply stated that you had them up for sale. I'm happy you're going out racing soon.

Yes it's sad but it seems a lot of racers ended their career when they made a switch of heads. To bad their new combinations never got sorted out. I'm sure they would've been impressive.

Thanks Paul , yea sometimes life has a way of getting your attention , I just wanted to let people know that the heads were not the reason . I think we will run decent when we start back , I know we won't be as fast as some but we will faster than most !lol (I HOPE )

You mean the highest HP Pontiac engine that was on that dyno? Unless of course you've had an higher engine on that dyno in the past year?

We are building Syron a pump gas 511ci with the same heads.

I'm putting a short deck engine with casting 614 heads back in my Firebird.

Yes Calvin that's the engine. You did a good job. I stand corrected. I heard several times that you purchased that engine from Tom. It seemed plausible since the motor broke in your car. I don't think you should get your panties all wadded up about a small technicality. After all the motor is still in your possession after many many years, legally you might own it. Your list has a few questions marks also... but no one's getting all worked up about it.

That engine was broke down after Norwalk. I decided to change direction because I bit off more than I can chew. So we did some horse trading.

Here's some food for thought.
I paid 50 cents on the dollar for the CV-1 heads and we made more hp with a Pontiac than you ever have with any Pontiac head. It also made 50hp than a larger CI tiger headed engine on the same dyno. Almost every part except piston and rods were second hand. It even had a std. cam journal and std bore lifters and no crank trigger and only pulling 7 inches of vacuum.

Hi Tom, interesting thoughts. I agree about buying second hand parts(if you recall I purchased some from you) It helps out us working class folks.

Why would you make the statement "we made more hp with a Pontiac than you ever made with any Pontiac head"?

I think most of Paul's cars are street cars, I don't think they even have bolt in roll bars?

Yes, I remember. That's the best thing about Pontiac guys. Usually are more than fair to deal with.

Only speaking the truth. Didn't mean to offend you.

Ok Thanks Jim, Already sold the Twister top end to a dang good guy that races with his old man too
Can't really remember how I broke that all down because I sold a really nice rotating assembly with them too.

Tom it is offending. You're not speaking the truth. That Tiger headed engine you guys out powered ran 7.60(correction 7.71 @ 181mph) in a door car. How fast did your engine run? Now Calvin is going to have to call you "fake news".
