Nearing a functional prototype. I decided to try to make it with a push/pull spring return option right from the start. Just choose which way you prefer and mount it accordingly. I can’t believe the the entire pot fit inside this housing. I’ll most likely have to have a bump out for the micro switch unless I can go from a “miniature” to “sub-miniature” switch. Wires will have to 90° in from the side. Push-button is made of UHMW, I didn’t have any Delrin. Sharpie in pic for scale (it’s presently smaller than the sharpie body). The push buttons will be trimmed back a bit when complete.

Edit: the unit will only have a button out of one side when finished. I might leave the excess sticking out the other side, machine it down thinner and put some graduations on it to get a rough idea of 75%, 50%,… kinda overkill though.
