Wow! There are some spectacular pieces out there. A long way from Iron D ports...Crap!

Does Ben have the program for the block and the machine to carve it out? If not, who produced his?

May not be as professional as some of the others shown here. But I made them both.
The crank mandrel has a register that locates in the balancer hub as well as the 4 bolt flange. I made the pulley to fit and the retaining sleever to hold it on.
The Alt. bracket locates the alternator low and is solid. Alternator never wiggle or throws a belt.
Both have been on the car and could use some polishing.

Good looking stuff, Scott!

Is the crank hub bolt behind the mandrel?
Or is the outside one a long bolt?

The crank hub bolt is behind the mandrel. The front bolt just holds the sleeve in front of the pulley. The hardest part of the whole deal was machining out the V groove. My lathe is a really old Southbend unit. All adjustments were by hand. It all started as a 6" round pc of aluminum.

Handy to be able to make your own stuff. Shim stock for custom thrust costs $$ for someone else to do it. Same for custom made water necks etc..

Love what's showing up here 😀
