Here are updated totals.

My Labor @ 499 hrs........$9,980.00
Parts .........................$17,703.47
Outside Labor...............$18,434.00
Gifts............................$3,263.25

Total..........................$49,380.72

OK, Just a short note to say that I haven't even driven the car this past week. The weather is really screwed up here. It's supposed to be 64 today with a slight chance of rain but a cold front is headed our way and the rain may become snow. Tomorrow's high will be upper 30s and Tuesday's will be low 30s!! Lows will be in the teens!! Then by next Saturday it will be back in the 70s with another chance of rain. Hopefully, this week will be our winter and we can get back to normal next week.
Y'all have a good one and keep warm.

The low here for tomorrow (Monday) night is predicted to be 8 degrees. Well, maybe it'll wipe out some of the rodents running rampant after these last few years of mild winters.

Rub it in you two. It was so cold here yesterday moring the Ki Ki birds were out in droves. And they'll be back for Tuesday morning. We're supposed to have a low of 4.

I'm just praying my power won't go out. My wood stove is out of commission due to putting some laminate flooring down.

Power went out here yesterday for about 4 hours. A transformer blew up across the street from us. Then our generator came on. We're the only ones in our subdivision that have a generator. It's big enough to run the whole house... except the electric stove... and the garage.

Hazmat was in the neighbors backyard cleaning up until dark. It looked like they were cleaning up 3 backyards. 8 trucks and 2 of them with trailers and their equipment just to carry off what they cleaned up.

You guys crack me up. We've had the winters of all winters here. Snow one day, deep frigid temps the next. Been that way since November.

Tomorrow's high is supposed to set records. A high of -10 with wind chills at -50. That on top of the 12"s of snow we got last night and today.

Normal weather is supposed to be in the upper 20's

Mark, it's the same reason I moved from up on the Canadian border in NY to Delaware. And I was farther north than Paul.... and most of the time colder too. When I was much younger Massena, NY was the coldest spot in the nation many times during the winters back in the 60s and 70s.

See how lucky you are Phil. You and Greg can actually drive your Goats in the winter.

Yea, I wish I cold. Phil's a lucky guy. My car is under a carver and has been for over a moth. Too cold out there to work on it.

I know how lucky I am to be able to drive my car most of the year. But, I have to work outside. Right now it is 29 and the wind chill is in the teens. Calling for a low near 15 in the morning and a high of 30! I can't wear warm clothes because I am in and out of a heated building all day long.
I was born and raised in western Maryland so I am familiar with cold weather. But, age and being in the deep south has changed the way it affects me. Once I get cold it takes until summer for me to feel warm again!

It's 12 here right now at a quarter of nine pm. Looking for a low of possibly 3 or 4 degrees and I think it will make it without much problem.
I know it's nothing to you guys in the NE and the MW but single digit temps are probably a once-a-decade occurrence down here in the deep south.

Paul, it's going to be a cold one for sure. Now for the latest sports news. Auburn is ahead of Florida State 21-3 with 5 minutes left in the first half. Who would have ever thought that?
Now, back to you for the extended forecast.

The news channels are calling this a Polar Vortex. They state that normally the cold air circles the arctic but some of it has spun off in two directions. One over the US and the other over Russia. The temp here in southern TN is 8 degrees. Hopefully this will come to an end by Friday. I have folks I work with in Canada that are asking for us to burn some tires down here and kick up global warming.

Well, the cold weather is gone for now. It was nice enough today to take the wife for a ride in the GTO. I really need to dismantle the interior but just can't bring myself to do it. They are calling for cold weather next weekend so I will probably start on it then. Hopefully, I can take it apart and put it back together before the 31st of this month so I can drive it to the Moultrie car show/ swap meet.

Well. it was cold yesterday, the wife was out of town and I had all day to work on the car. So, I stayed in my recliner for the duration! Ever have one of those days where your get up and go has got up and went? That's how I felt. Today was a lot nicer but I didn't get out of bed until almost 11am! I finally mustered enough "want to" to get out and work in yards for about 4 hours.
I guess I'll work on the car next weekend!

Dang, when I read my last post I thought I had just posted it for this week! The weather was nice but I was under it all weekend! Now we have winter storm warnings being posted for Tuesday and Wednesday! The Moultrie Swap Meet is next weekend and the weather is supposed to be nice A little chilly in the morning but warming into the 60s.
I probably won't drive my car but, Lord willing, I'll be there Friday and Saturday.
Y'all have a good one and keep warm!
