Why in the world would a grown man click on a thread that he isnt interested in? Thats kinda like the male version of a "karen".

I learned years ago to just skim right on by something that I dont like...

Acknowledges that others don't see it the same way *he* does, wants it removed anyways.

Wrong. I'd go out of my way to help a couple of folks because they're being honest. The sensitive types are the only ones that ever seem to suffer.

As someone posted there is nothing in this thread that says anything about racing so get it off here. JMO.
My whole point. Thank you 61-63 and the others who concurred.

But I am not telling the Mods what to do. They have a hard enough job as it is and then they have to put up with this too.

A lot of people don’t like fossil fuels, drag racing, hot rods, They say delete it, I hope you’ll be happy when that happens.

You TOTALLY are, and what's worse is you're trying to shame them. Imagine if I started a website showing all the people going 8 mph over the limit in MY neighborhood. You sugarcoat your 'suggestion' by saying they have their hands full, but in reality you are admonishing them.

When you publicly point out offenders, you're flexing. Clicking on the report button in many ways is superior, gives all of them a heads up. But you want people to witness the clout *which you wield*. But the power you're abusing isn't yours, it rightfully belongs to the mods.

This is a community, and it has different needs than the Turbo forum you moderate. When in Rome...

[QUOTE CC 857 Hydraulic roller Lifters I have someone that have this for sale in good condition pm if you’re interested thank you… Identify info removed.

[/QUOTE]

Thank You for the offer.

I have two sets of NEW Comp Cams Hydraulic roller Lifters that I bought years ago (when Comp offered them for sale initially) that I will not use in anything I ever put together.

Tom Vaught

Not sure who the PY Individual was but thanks for the offer BUT offer them to someone else in the For Sale section. Good luck with the potential sale.

Tom,

That sounds like a scam to get your money.

How would "they" get MY money?

I bought my Roller lifters directly from Comp Cams as I was a distributor for their stuff at one time. The customer defaulted on the sale.

I was never a fan of Hydraulic Roller Cam lifters even though Ford was one of the first to use the Hydraulic Roller Cam lifters in their Mustang engines.

Have run solid roller cams for in different customers engines since the 1960s.

Totally different direction now. From smack talking to scammers.

And yes, I've been following this thread for a slight bit of entertainment.

Since you are from Canada tooski, are you old enough to have seen Bert Straus race his Astre?

Tom V

He had a very unique intake manifold that ran a 4 Holley 2 BBL carbs induction system.

Tom, I am old enough. However, I wasn't into drag racing then. I just wanted a 'fancy' sports car that would go fast. Hence my Firebird. A couple of years after I bought it new I went to a drag strip a couple of times 'to see what it could do'. At that time I did what the standard hot rodders did. Performance carb, intake, headers.
As a side note, during one of those trips I saw a dragster there. I don't know what fuel was involved, but the driveshaft broke half way down the track. Still crossed the finish with a 9 sec et.

You will be fine, the scammer likely sent the same message to everyone who responded in the CC lifter thread. Some in the thread are looking for lifters, they are the ones who are at risk.

What was the screen name of that person? A couple scammers who joined the site in the last couple days have been discovered and banned.
