Looks like something out of my old Hot Wheels collection.
Reminds me of the 70s jacked up in the rear hot rods with Thrush glass packs. 70s kid.
Nostalgia Funny Cars ? They come to Samoa and run 7.50 class.

I would say no, but anything is possible. Why I say that: The old "Zombie" body which was in a fire we took possession of. It was originally a real Beswick Boss Bird body saved from his huge fire in 1971 and was stored at a remote location. We took the burned Zombie body, paid to have all the fire damage fixed and then paid to have a mold pulled off it for the Boss Bird. We then returned the repaired "Zombie body", to them. It was repaired, but not really a race ready body and was heavy from all the repairs. Probably would have cost less to buy a "new" body from VFN off the mold than make the original Zombie body race ready. Also the front spoiler area is quite a bit different from the Boss Bird body or the Zombie body. Anyone know more info about the car pictured?. I can't find much. I like the way it looks.

Maybe its just me, but the flaring of the lower body in front of the rear wheels looks a lot more pronounced than the Boss Bird body. Maybe its the angle of the pic, but some of the proportions seem a bit off to me.

Thanks for the link. Not a Facebook guy but I was able to scroll back to 2018 and look at all the pics. They have a multi-car professional looking team, that is obvious. Looks like the Shakedown name was used on several different paint scheme z28 body cars. Looked like this Firebird was their first non-Chevy body funny car in several years. Looks like the same cars we raced against with the Boss Bird, although I don't remember seeing this car at any of the events we ran. I do miss running this class, it was really fun and a great place to showcase our real Pontiac engine in a sea of hemi's. We could run right with them, but having the huge supply of spare parts and the tons of $$$$ was always a huge challenge for us. After looking at their Facebook page, a week end at the race track easily surpassed our annual budget. Wish them luck with the Pontiac body.

One of the Guys at a Speed Shop where I did Machine Work had a Beswick style Funny Car
Body. Body shell was 68 Firebird. Time frame was 1973. Body was glass, not painted.

Accurate observation.
