Timing Gear Puller
Can you guys recommend a timing gear puller for Pontiacs?

For the crank gear? The crank gear is a slip fit. You may be able to use 2 of those 90 degree pry bars to pull it off (toe bars?). Just trying to help...

There is no need for any puller on either gear, they're both slip fit. Varnish on an older engine will make them stick.
As 77 Trashcan has already said, a curved pry bar against the front surface of the block, along with some carb cleaner to break down the varnish is all you need. |
