Reminds me of John Welters single Turbonetics LARGE Turbo (many years ago) that ran 6.82 on the east coast at a Pontiac Event.

For a while, he was the baddest of the bad then Travis and Rodney built the 63 Tempest
that ran in the 6.20s (some years later). Look forward to seeing some very quick times.

Hey Dave...Killer build for sure...What did you guys do for head gaskets? My 482" turbo combo parts are at BES now, with plans to do top fuel hoops...Just curious what direction you went.

Thank you. I believe it’s steel wire with receiver grooves in the head.

Thats a pretty good number and a nice car too. How much boost did u run on that hub dyno runs?

The last pull was 32psi but didn’t hold that, back pressure was creeping up. The engine looked great, intake had perfect air distribution. the egt graph was like one solid line.
The tuner was very impressed the whole time and Coming from him that’s a big deal in my world.
