I am with you Chris this kid is good. We grew up with a local blues band the Nighthawks and this kid would fit right in.

Albert King once said to play like you are a 300 pound man. That best describes what I like about this kid. He doesn't play to to shred or note blitz, but he can play a note with authority.

He's really good and will only get better and better.
Particularly like the way he can already pick so well, not just a chord strummer.
Would be very proud of him.

BillyJack hat doesn't really seem to be the right hat at all for him.
The right handlers and coordinators could make him child-star material , if he even wants that result.
