Where have you guys found your build sheets? I have heard above gas tank, behind rear seat, etc., but have been unable to locate it. I know I could contact PHS, but I was searching for mine much like an archaeological treasure (e.g. kickin' it Indiana Jones style...).

I've had 3 2nd gen TA's and found 2 behind rear seat and 1 on top of the gas tank (the only time i actually removed one of the tanks) like u said. The one on the gas tank was taped on with some black sticky tape, and it was pretty bad and I could only make out about a third of the sheet.

I located my build sheet inside the driver side front fender.I had the door open and noticed something inside the fender, there it was!

I've also seen build sheets behind the door panels, under the dash, and on A/C equipped cars behind the driver's side kick panel.
Keep in mind that it was optional for the assembly line worker to put the build sheet into the car. He may have been using your build sheet as a coaster for his drink that day! 1971 Trans Am 455 HO - Cameo white 1973 Trans Am 455 - Buccaneer red 1984 Trans Am 305 - Royal blue |

Found my under the rear seat cushion, a little worn and a slight tear, but still readable. PHS won't be able to get you a build sheet, but I got a copy of the Window sticker from them. Between the two of them, I know my car is a true Formula.

Mr Bratt, I can't belive you own a 75 and posted here... The sheer outrage!!!
Don't worry, I wouldn't hold it against you - That state you live in makes ya do some whacky stuff! I grew up there, which might explain some of the weird stuff my friends say about me... I'm gonna try pulling my AC kick panels. It'd give me an excuse to paint 'em while I had 'em off. "...ridge reamer and ring compressor? Do they have tools like that?"
