My 73 esprit came with a vinyl top but it was so badly damaged that I had to remove it. I like the look of the formulas so much that I dont want to replace the top, instead I'd like to just paint my car all one color but am not sure how to remove these rivits that go around the back window (the ones the held the top in place and are covered by a chrome molding.) Anyone dealt with this before?
Thanks

Use a cut off wheel and grind them off, grind them flush with the body and you won't need very much filler.
