member of another board wants to put in a XE-268 cam in a stock 76 400 with stock 6x heads. 480 lift shouldnt be a problem... right?

So let me get this straight:
Your Honda has 1.6 liters and my bottle of Mountain Dew has 2?

The stock valve springs can only handle .450 or so. Just change the springs and everything else will work fine.
