My daily driver is a Fiat 500e and it's really punchy

But, most of these aftermarket ev motors that are affordable are only like 80-100hp, only the really expensive ones can replace that good old v8 feel

I briefly researched doing an EV with the Lemans - essentially if you are not running lithium ion or equivalent you are running a large golf cart.
