Rewired my car with the Painless system because it's more strip than stock now. Everything worked out nicely except that the female connector on the painless system for the light switch has an extra "socket" for switch itself. The switch in my 71 Firebird has five and two male "prongs", the female end/connector off the painless system seems to need one more "prong" to work the dash lights. Any thoughts/help would be appreciated. Do I have the correct switch? Can I get a correct switch or bypass a wire? Chris.

Aside from changing switches, etc. if the dash lights are your only problem, you could:
1. Connect the dash circuit to your headlight circuit. They may not work with your parking lights if your parking lights are not on with your headlights. 2. If your parking lights ARE on with your headlights, connect the dash circuit to your parking circuit. The dash lights then will operate in both, park and run. Regards, George
