Year One has been great to me!!! In Feb of '98 my car was in the readers ride section of HPP and the president of the company recognized me as a customer and sent me a certificate of recognition for this. They also sent caps, drink holders, and etc. Thanks to Performance years also for being thoughtful enough to post a link to the competition.

Year One is a GREAT place to buy Pontiac parts if you like HIGH prices.

Compare their prices on almost everything in their catalog and you will find Performance Years to be cheaper.

So...why would anyone buy from Year One vs Performance Years?

They just replaced a convertible top boot I bought 18 months ago for my 68GTO convertible that did not hold up well at all. It was used about 6 times before the backing/stiching started to come apart at the piping that slides into the bar channel on the rear seat. I thought it would have been to old to return, and I would have it fixed at an upholstery shop, but decide to call.

Year One is a professional organization. Their Customer Service people are very pleasent on the phone. You need to wait for a sale (preferably 20%) to get a real good price
