I use R-5671A-7 on engine like you are describing

That's what I'm currently running, the 8s were a tad too cold, it likes the hotter plug. Good luck.

Default plugs

I'm running R5671A-7's also. Be aware that when you go to buy them at a parts store they may not be listed that way. For some reason some stores, NAPA, O' Reily's, Summit, lists them by stock number. I think the number is 4621.

I use 5672-A8's. Used same plugs on both gas and alky.

i used those on the 467 with the alky rick. I have some left over. may try both and see what it likes.. Hoping to get it on the pump and broke in soon.. then i can start saving for a decent bottom end to park under it.
