Default Ram Air Manifolds on 1978 Trans Am

I have Ram Air 2.5 exit manifolds from Ames on my 1978 trans am and the driver side is hitting the fuel line and bolt on the frame. There is no clearance even with new motor mounts. Is anyone else running into this issue? I am thinking about adding shims under the motor mounts to lift it up. I also may just ditch the manifolds and go with Dougs like I did on my 1970 bird.
