For reference, ran a best of 12.79 @ 110 with a iirc 2.03 60 ft for the weekend. And this was in bad air too as it was low 90s and humid.

Tire pressure also plays a big role. I'm sure Jeremy can give you input also. I think I'm running 47lb in the fronts and about 35 in the rears.
Light? You've got 150 pounds on me - with me & gas in the car it was 3845! I'm certain the car can do 12's but I need to get better!

Tire pressure may be part of it - I was running 21 lbs in the rears - need to try it with them bumped up.

I would guess 20-25 depending on the tire to car aspect; IMO this is near on the money.

Chris, I get my best 60' with them right at 24 PSI. The 60's drop off pretty consistently with anything above or below. Each car is going to like it a little different, but I bet that 21 PSI is too low.

We'll have to hit a track rental at LVD sometime so we can get a bunch of runs and fine tune it.

Chris

There is a little plate inside the column that sort of guides the shift pattern; I have often wondered if that could be engineered to act like a Dual Gate, someone could make a little money if they could pull it off.

Really? I need to take one apart.

It would be nice if it worked normal pulling towards you, and then had the ratchet effect pushing away with a positive stop before neutral.

No long branch ones Steve, but your car would take the regular A-body style anyways. I'll check what I've got - I know I've got round port ones. No Moroso covers but I've got factory chrome & painted, which do you want?

Moroso or stock chrome. I'm like 99% sure this would take long branch manifolds; it has the same frame as first gen Firebird. By the way; I'm going to try and talk Gary into letting me do a little work on your 68, clean up and stuff plus get it rolling good for transportation.

Same front sub frame as the 2nd gen F-bodies not first gen.

Huh?

No, you're right.

Still can't help you with the long branch.
